About Krishnan Suthanthiran, Founder & President of TeamBest Global Companies, Kitsault Energy, Best Cure Foundation (a non-profit organization) and Best Global Talent Agency

Krishnan Suthanthiran immigrated to Canada from India in September 1969 after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Madras, India, to pursue his Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He arrived with a total of 400 Canadian Dollars. Subsequently, he received a National Research Council of Canada Research Assistantship, and graduated with a Master's Degree in 1971.

He moved to the United States in 1972. Soon after, he began his career at the Howard University Hospital (Freedmen's Hospital, until 1974) in Washington, DC as an Engineer Physicist. Having lost his father to cancer while he was an undergraduate student in engineering, he has dedicated his career to cancer prevention, early detection and effective treatment for the Total Cure.

In 1972, Mr. Suthanthiran explored a variety of business opportunities in medical, restaurants, parking lot operations, etc. on a part time basis. He started Best Medical International in 1977 and began operations in medical product manufacturing. He later expanded into real estate ventures. Over the last 15 years, he began to expand significantly, growing from less than 50 employees to nearly 450 employees in USA, Europe and Canada. He is currently engaged in medical, real estate, entertainment and energy fields. In addition, Mr. Suthathiran supports a few non-profit foundations.

He founded and is currently supporting a few non-profit charitable foundations to promote quality education and healthcare and making them affordable and accessible. He is pursuing a goal of providing purified drinking water and affordable sewer systems in every part of the world. He has contributed substantially to   setting up endowed chair and endowments for scholarships,    and has also provided significant funding to support medical research and treatment by partnering with academic centers, national labs and hospitals globally.

Best Cure Foundation was established in 2007, to focus on making quality education and healthcare accessible and affordable globally. In addition he acquired an entire town, Kitsault in Northwest British Columbia in 2005, and has now established Kitsault Energy to use the town as a Dedicated Energy Export Terminal and Port to export energy products from Canada to Asian Markets. Mr. Suthanthiran also purchased a hospital in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, and is there in the process of setting up a world class Cancer Center.

He contributed significantly to the University of Maryland Medical School to establish an endowed chair in Oncology. He also donated nearly 1.5 million USD worth of Oncology equipment to Nicaragua and Tanzania in 2005, and has contributed to the Georgetown University and other Medical Centers several millions of USD in support of medical research with the primary focus on Oncology and Cardiology.
